MArch Manchester School of Architecture | 2019 | Red Bank, Manchester
PROJECT  DESCRIPTION
Age Reactivation aims to reimagine the way older people in Manchester choose to live. The design concept was formed after data research into home working shows that older people are working longer and more frequently from home. After performing research based on my own health data its clear this can lead to reduced levels of Activity. This scheme aims to combat this reduced level of activity whilst enabling a pleasant home office environment. Analysing circulation routes within and outside of the building were critical to increasing the level of activity within the residents making activity feel natural and easy rather than a chore.
